We are delighted to announce that Founder and CEO of Cairney & Company, Karen Cairney , has reached the finals of this year’s National Business Woman Awards in the ‘Scottish Business Woman of the Year’ category recognising the business she’s built and its contribution to the Higher Education and Not-for-Profit sectors since 2016.

Seeking to disrupt the model of fundraising consultancy in the Higher Education and Not-for-Profit sectors and deliver a shift in a more strategic and integrated approach to advancement, the objective was clear, ‘Cairney and Company would provide a personalised and bespoke approach for every client, ensuring they could achieve and maximise their brand exposure, philanthropic and income generation goals and make a difference to the communities they operate in’.

The strategy?  To bring together a diverse and dynamic group of consultants which would serve as critical friends to their clients, working alongside them and empowering them to recognise their unique goals and challenges and develop the best outcome for the clients.  The Cairney team is made up of senior level thought-leaders who operate at the forefront to the advancement sector across the globe.
