Fiona Donnelly

Strategic Delivery Partner

Owner/Director of Red Links, a consultancy that helps develop responsible business through strategy, engagement and sustainability services.

Fiona is a long term Hong Kong-er and has spent her career in various roles in professional services, including almost a decade in two of the Big Four which gives her sound financial hard-wiring.  She has developed a speciality and interest in sustainability since 2007, and now leads the Red Links Sustainability Consortium, a network of experienced sustainability and business professionals that helps with bespoke consultancy in environment, social and governance (ESG) issues, and in the focus areas of investment and ESG as well as climate risk.

Achievements include writing and delivering Scotland’s first multi-sector strategy for trade and investment with Hong Kong and securing the largest inward investment from the territory into Scotland for over a decade; and being a founding partner in a sustainability consultancy that in five years grew to serve about one third of the constituents of the Hang Seng Sustainability Index, among many other iconic brands. She also worked with Edinburgh Napier University to build their local stakeholder base and develop opportunities for collaboration, income growth and profile raising.

What inspires Fiona to think big?

Fiona is inspired by Rory Sutherland, UK Chairman of Ogilvy: "He is intelligently controversial, supports the contrarian view, looks at things differently and is also just hilarious!"
